Easter treasure Hunt mystery in Gazzo!

It's not so much a treasure hunt as a story hunt, a little adventure in which we solve puzzles and find clues, to a story about Gazzo and how Gazzo came to be here in valle D'Arroscia. Our story begins nearly 2000 years ago when to people leave Rome.

It's not a true story, but I hope it's a good story and everybody will enjoy it.

The story bigins...

The story began three weeks before easter when I was visiting one of the antique shops in Pieve di Teco and was given an old book by an old man who insisted I take it for free. The book contained the note below.

Of course I could not know why he was giving me this note, an Englishman in Italy, it is an odd choice. I took it back to the village and we talked about it a lot.

The call to action...

Just one week later I recieved another note asking me to put together a group of people who are familiar with Gazzo to go and look for what had been lost. It was signed "the gaurdians", very strange, so I asked people to join me to try and investigate this. If you would like to join an investigation team to look into this at some other time after Easter please contact me by email. (It is at the top of the page.)

I guess they contacted me because of my experience at the "International Intelligence Agancy" investigating mysteries like this back in England where there were some incidents relating to a research laboritory and some dissappearing scientists, but that is another story. You can find out a bit about the IIA at intintage.org

The future

Stories are a great way to add something extra to a holiday, a hotel, a resturaunt or a walking trail in the mountains. Back in the UK there was a cafe that was part of our story and so all the investigation team bought their lunch there and asked the cafe owner about what had happened in that area a few years ago. Of course he told them a story which helped them to start to solve the mystery at hand. He also sold a lot of lunches.

If you like the idea of being involved with this kind of thing then contact me by email.

Best wishes from me and the people of Gazzo.
